This Payment Policy explains how you can pay for your order on lonvahealth.com, how we keep your payment details secure, and how pricing and currency work. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
Accepted Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods at checkout, processed securely through Shopify Payments and PayPal:
- Credit & debit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club
- Digital wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay
- PayPal: pay using your PayPal balance or a card linked to your PayPal account
When Payment Is Taken
- Payment is taken in full at the time you place your order.
- Placing an order is an offer to purchase. Your order is confirmed when we send you a dispatch confirmation email (see our Terms of Service).
- When you start checkout, your bank may place a temporary authorisation hold to confirm the card is valid. If an order is not completed or is cancelled, this hold is released by your bank, usually within 3–5 working days.
Pricing & Currency
- Prices are shown in GBP (£), USD ($), or EUR (€) depending on your region, and include applicable taxes (such as UK VAT) where required.
- You are charged in the currency displayed at checkout. If your card or account is in a different currency, your bank or payment provider performs the conversion at their exchange rate.
- Any currency-conversion charges, foreign-transaction fees, or differences caused by exchange-rate fluctuations are set by your bank and are your responsibility — we do not add or receive these fees.
- Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.
Payment Security
- SSL/TLS encryption: all data sent during checkout is encrypted. You'll see a padlock and "https" in your browser's address bar.
- PCI DSS compliant: payments are processed by Shopify Payments and PayPal, which are fully PCI DSS compliant. We never see or store your full card number — card data is handled directly by these providers.
- 3D Secure: card payments may use 3D Secure (e.g. Visa Secure, Mastercard Identity Check), where your bank verifies the transaction to protect you against unauthorised use.
Order Verification & Declined Payments
- For your protection and ours, some orders may be subject to additional verification before we accept and dispatch them. We may contact you if we need to confirm details.
- If your payment is declined, please check your card details, billing address, and available funds, or try another payment method. Repeated declines are usually resolved by contacting your bank.
- We reserve the right to accept, decline, or cancel any order — for example, in cases of suspected fraud, a pricing error, or stock unavailability. If we cancel, you receive a full refund.
What We Do Not Accept
We do not accept cash on delivery (COD), cheques, bank transfers, gift cards, or layaway/instalment plans unless explicitly offered at checkout.
Pricing Errors
While we take care to display correct prices, errors can occasionally occur. If we discover a pricing error on an item you have ordered, we will contact you before dispatch and give you the choice to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund. See our Terms of Service for details.
